These terms apply to the teeSide golfer app, the teeSide Club Portal and this website, operated by [operator to be confirmed]("we"). By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.

What teeSide is

teeSide helps golfers find playing partners and open rounds, and lets clubs confirm their members. We introduce golfers to each other; we do not organise, run or supervise games. Green fees, bookings, caddies and club rules are between you, the other golfers and the club.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older and use your own phone number.
• Keep your profile honest: your real name, and a handicap that reflects how you play.
• You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us if you think someone else has used it.

Playing with others

• Be courteous in requests and chats, and turn up to games you have agreed to, or let the others know in good time.
• Phone numbers shared through teeSide are for arranging golf only. Do not share them, or use them for marketing.
• Use your own judgement when meeting people. Verification badges confirm club membership and handicap; they are not a background check.

Not allowed

• Harassment, abuse, hate speech, or unwanted contact after someone has declined or blocked you.
• Fake profiles, impersonation, or false verification requests.
• Spam, selling, or advertising to other golfers.
• Trying to access data or parts of the service you are not allowed to.

You can block or report anyone from their profile. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Clubs

Club administrators may use the Club Portal only to confirm or decline their own members' requests honestly, and may use golfers' data only for that purpose. A club confirms the handicap a golfer entered; it does not set it.

Your content

You own what you post (your photo, bio and messages). You give us permission to store and show it to the people the privacy policy describes, only to run teeSide. Deleting your account deletes it.

Price

teeSide is currently free for golfers and clubs. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you before they apply and you will be free not to use them.

The service

We work to keep teeSide running and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for games, travel, injuries, losses or disputes between golfers or with clubs.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time (see Delete your account).

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will tell you in the app about significant changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Questions: [support email to be confirmed].
